Course Content

By training students in globallyrecognized tools like Toon Boom, Maya, Blender, and After Effects, and guiding them through the complete 2D and 3D animation pipelines, it ensures they gain hands-on experience aligned with professional studio workflows. of leading production houses worldwide, equipping participants with both technical proficiency and creative confidence. The final deliverables—a polished 10-second 2D and 3D animated short film—provide students with portfolio-ready content that can significantly boost their employability in the fast-growing animation and VFX industry. Introduction/Objectives / Learning Outcomes for the Students:
By the end of this 50-hour workshop, students will be able to:
1. Understand the Complete Animation Pipeline
○ Gain knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production stages in both 2D, 3D and AI workflows, aligned with global production house standards.
2. Develop Technical Proficiency in Industry Tools
○ Acquire practical skills in Toon Boom Harmony, Maya, Blender, and After Effects for animation, rigging, texturing, rendering, and compositing.
3. Apply Core Animation Principles
○ Implement the 12 principles of animation in 2D, 3D & AI projects (timing, spacing, anticipation, squash & stretch, arcs, etc.).
4. Produce Short Professional Films
○ Create two polished 10-second animated clips (2D, 3D & AI) demonstrating storytelling, character animation, and compositing techniques.
5. Collaborate in a Studio-Like Environment
○ Experience teamwork, pipeline discipline, and iterative feedback — essential for working in production houses worldwide.
6. Build a Foundation for Career Progression
○ Develop a professional mindset and portfolio-ready work that encourages
students to pursue advanced learning and specialize as a 2D/3D animation
artist.
2D–3D Animation Production Workshop (50 Hours)
Duration: 25 sessions × 2 hours each = 50 Hours
Structure: 2D = 25 hours, 3D = 25 hours
Workshop Objectives
● Introduce students to an end-to-end animation production pipeline (Pre-production → Production → Post-production).
