Maeva Ramkalia (DBIMA, Paris)
Maeva Ramkalia, born in Paris is a French screenwriter and narrative designer of Guadeloupean, Indian, and Cameroonian descent. Passionate about literature and cinema, she began her career as a screenwriter for films and TV shows. In 2019, she joined the video game studio Quantic Dream as a narrative designer, contributing to the game "Star Wars Eclipse."
Maeva actively advocates for diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry, emphasizing the importance of reflecting society's diversity through stories. In 2023, she was awarded the SACD/France TV Diversity and Inclusion Prize, recognizing her commitment to diversity in the audiovisual field. She is teaching at DBIMA as head of the script writing course.
