My experience at XIC has been very eventful. Right from the first lecture till our final short film project, it has been exciting, full of challenges and of course, a whole lot of exposure to the world of cinema.
What I loved the most about the course was how it allowed us to understand professional work standards and at the same time attempt to create such work bound be it strict deadlines without a lot of external support. From collaborating with my peers to participating in jury based assignments and presenting our ideas in front of experienced professional, these have been some of the most enriching moments of course at XIC.
I had enrolled for XIC with a certain goal in mind – to understand the fundamentals of filmmaking and choose my professional area of interest. On completion of the course, I can confidentially say I’ve met many goals, not only do I know the kind of job and work domains, I’m interested in, I have also received some priceless advice from my professors about the same.

My experience at XIC was brilliant. I cannot put into words how the course has changed me but the growth is visible. Because of my interactions with the various faculty members, XIC bring on board, my understanding of the world and the field of mass communication has become better. XIC made me realize the things that I am good at; the roles I am definitely good at. Along with the projects that I have been a part of with my batch mates, I have realised the importance of leadership skills and how co-operation is essential for the success of a project. The practical hands-on approach that XIC has embraced through its assignments is commendable and gives an idea of what the job scenario might expect out of us. Overall, my experience was pleasant and I will definitely recommend the course to all those who wish to pursue a Diploma from XIC.

XIC was my dream College since the moment I went through a College search. I felt extremely lucky to have gotten the opportunity to pursue AMDA from here. I have learned how to manage time and resources and be competitive. It is owing to these contrasts and extremities of situations that I learned how ’real life’ works.
As I mentioned above, the severity and contrasts in situation, the timelines and deadlines have made me a bit more proper in my planning.
