XIC 52nd Annual Convocation
The XIC 52nd Annual Convocation was held on 27th April, 2022 in the iconic St. Xavier’s College quadrangle, Mumbai. Rector of St. Xavier’s College, Dr. Fr. Keith D’Souza, SJ welcomed the gathering of students and parents with a prayer and addressed the gathering.
The chief guest for the evening was Mr. Jahnu Barua, An acclaimed Indian Film maker and an Awardee of Padma Shri in 2005 and Padma Bhushan in 2014. Mr. Jahnu Barua had been a faculty at XIC. He spoke about his life experiences in his career.
The Year that Was 2021-22 showcased the happenings and student events at XIC during the academic year 2021-22. Dr. Jehangir Mistry, Dean of XIC gave us an academic review of the year 2021 – 2022. The felicitation of Course Heads & Class Reps were done the Management of XIC. The sponsored Awards, The Venkat Vemulapalli Memorial Awards for Advertising & Marketing Students were given for the Best & the Runner up Ad Film, and for The Best and the Runner up Live Client Project.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by staff member, Ms. Sandra Rana followed by the XIC Anthem.
