Students Get Practical Industry Insights at Xphoria

The afternoon was lit up by ‘Xphoria’ organized by students of Event Planning and Experiential Marketing. Panel discussions were conducted giving real industry insights about the events industry.
Discussion on ‘India on the Global Stage: Redefining Entertainment for a billion + Aspirations’ was conducted, where the panellists shared case studies and explained how Indian events take the global stage and how international events need the Indian audience. The discussion was moderated by Shahu Ignatitius, CEO and Chief Evangelist, Live Events, Laqshya Media Group. The panellists were Balakrishna B., Head – Live Events, Concerts and IP, Nesco Limited, Pooja Trehann, Head Communications and Content, NMACC, JWCC, JWP and Warren de Sylva, Co-Founder and COO of SPONCO.
Students witness panellists discuss how there are different sectors in the events industry and how they differ in ‘‘Brides, Brands and Billion: The Business of Experiences in the Attention Economy’. This discussion was moderated by Rahul Karwa, managing partner, Synergy Experiences.
The panel discussion on ‘More Than a Match: The Rise of Sports Experiences’ focused on how sports event planning works. The panellists were Akhil Ranade, Sports Marketer of Sports Boutique and Craig Afonso, Head of Events & Team Operations, Washington Freedom and it was moderated by Meghaa Ghosh, course Head, EPEM.
The event concluded with an engaging insight on content creation for Gen Zs in ‘The Gen Z Takeover – Mics, Events and Everything in Between’. The panellists were Rhea Gurnani and Kanchi Sharma, Lifestyle and Entertainment digital creators and it was moderated by Priyal Mittal, Content Creator.
Xphoria gave real-world insights and truth to the students, shaping them to step into the industry.
