Istoria’19 was a grand celebration of excellence for the golden jubilee of the prestigious Xavier Institute of Communications, organized by the students of the Public Relations and Corporate Communication batch of 2018-19.
Xavier Institute of Communications has year after year been named amongst the top 3 media institutes in the country, ranking 2nd according to The Week, and 3rd by Outlook. As our aim is to provoke conversations that matter for this glorious occasion, this year for the very first time, we are introduced a two-day fest format which saw The “Cult of the Creative” conclave on 23rd February 2019 in which eminent personalities from different creative fields shared their unique stories. We also launched the anthology of 50 stories from around the country on this auspicious occasion.
Our speakers for the conclave were Ashley Lobo, founder & artistic director of Danceworx India, Shivesh Bhatia, a food blogger, food stylist and social media phenomenon, Olly Alva, owner of Bombay's oldest tattoo studio- Al's, Amish Tripathi, revered-bestselling author, Roshan Abbas, RJ, theatre actor and TV anchor extraordinare, and Clinton Cerejo, powerhouse musician.
On 24th February 2019 with India's best artists, The Soundscape saw a mind blowing music festival with bands like Raghav Meattle and his band, Rap sensation group Bombay Lokal, a dance performance by Danceworx team and a banging end to the show by Sushant and his band Top Storey.
