Course Outline and Method

The Applied Creativity for Advertising & Marketing Communications is an 11-month full time Post-Graduate Diploma programme. The course will focus on the creative aspects of Advertising, Branding, and Digital Communications & Marketing Communications. This Course has been designed for students who aspire to become Copywriters, Creative Directors, Visual Merchandisers, Ad Film makers, Packaging Designers, Content Creators, UX and VFX Designers, e-commerce experience specialists, Visual Designers for Digital Platforms and Social Media. Experienced and working professionals from the Advertising Agencies, Brand Consulting, Ad Film making, Merchandizing, Digital Content and Social Media will actively engage with the students in the classroom to bring in deep creative insights. The course will focus on learning from real life branding and advertising case studies delivered by industry professionals who have been actively involved with creative aspects of branding and advertising. In-class creative and ideating exercises under the mentorship of top creative minds will empower the students with knowledge and practical craft to pursue career in various branches of creativity-centric professions.

Eligibility

Anyone holding a graduate degree in Arts, Science, Mass Media, Commerce, or any professional course etc. (Students, awaiting their graduation results, should submit a photocopy of the final year mark sheet of Second Year to the Administration Office) failing which, they will not be eligible for the XIC Post-graduate Diploma. There is an online entrance test followed by a personal interview.
