Street Play 'Socrates to Dabholkar via Tukaram'

After the brutal murder of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, the social reformer and activist who spent his life in fighting against superstitions and blind faith; Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti decided to pay tribute to this leader. With the help of eminent Director, Atul Pethe, MANS has organized a state-wide programme of Ringan Natya performances. More than 85 Ringan Natya shows have been enacted till date.
This Street play was also enacted at St. Xavier's College Campus on the invite from XIC & XISR on July 20th 2015. This also marked the 2nd death anniversary of the slain leader Dr. Narendra Dabholkar.
