XIC wins RAPA award for best student film

The first time this year RAPA (Radio Advertisers and Practitioners Assoc.) set up an award for the best student film, it was snapped up by XIC.

Students of the TV batch of 2008 under Prof Satish Bhatia won a prize for the best social promo against chewing paan. The 5 min. film entitled Ackh-thoo! was made by Karan Vazirani, Sanoober Jamal, Richa Arora and Aastha Khurana. (in the picture below) Fr Myron Pereira, director XIC, Sanoober and Karan receive the RAPA statuette from film producer Vinod Pande at the RAPA awards event, May 13, 2008.
