Xavier Institute of Communications is conducting the P G Diploma course in Film and TV: Digital Video Production at Ranchi in collaboration with Lievens Institute of Film and Electronic Media (LIFE), a Jesuit Institute, from the academic year 2011-2012. The faculty from XIC will conduct the course, and other professors approved and certified by XIC will also be the faculty.
The candidates from Central India and other adjoining area could apply to Lievens’ Institute of Film & Electronic media (LIFE) and write their entrance test at Ranchi on the 6th of May 2012 at LIFE, Ranchi. Those Candidates who have already applied to XIC and given their entrance test are eligible for the interviews.

N.B: Lievens’ Institute of Film and Electronic media (LIFE) is at Satya Bharati’s top floor and is on Purulia Road, which is next to the Cathedral (Bada Girija Ghar) and also in the Campus of Manresa House. From the Railway station the rickshaw pullers or auto drivers know Satya Bharati and Cathedral and from Airport too the autos are available. From the Railway station the rickshaw pullers ask for 40 rupees and auto would ask for 80 rupees. From Birsa Munda Airport the auto drivers could ask for 100-150 rupees.
