We sadly announce the death of Fr. Francis Xavier (“Packy”)
McFarland SJ. He passed away in the morning of Thursday,
Sept. 4, 2003 at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx,
N.Y.C. He was 84 years.

of students.
