XIC Celebrates 45th Anniversary!

As this year marks XIC completion of 45 years as an institute, a special anniversary event was organized on 30 January, 2015 in the XIC woods.
The event was attended in large numbers by Alumni, Faculty, Associates, present Staff and ex staff members.Mr. John Matthan Mathew, our alumnus and Indian film maker raised a toast for XIC.
This year Bethany Sisters of Panvel benefitted from XIC’s social initiative. Six girls aged between 10-12 from Bethany Convent School performed a Prayer dance.
The event was well organized with games, dance & felicitations for all who have been part of XIC in these 45 years. The Compere for the event was Darryl Loyola, who played a perfect host in keeping the guest busy & well entertained with various games and surprises. He made the guests danced to tune of popular Hollywood and Bollywood numbers.
It was very nostalgic for many alumni to be back at XIC as they cherish their fond memories from when they were here as students. They had a chance of interacting with many faculty members, and also catching up with their batch mates and staff members after a long time.
Many thanked and gave their best wishes for XIC. There were very interesting souveniers for all who attended the event.
