Jobs v/s Passion

Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) hosted a panel discussion on “Jobs v/s Passion” in the St. Xavier’s College auditorium on 16th February. The event was sponsored by Birla Sun Life Insurance as part of the company’s all India campaign. The panel members included Ajay Kakar (Chief Marketing Officer –Financial Services, Aditya Birla Group), Nandita Chalam (VP & Sr. Creative Director, JWT Mumbai and XIC Alumnae), Sainath Choudhury (Ad Film Director- Purple Vishnu Films), Samyank Chakrabarty (Managing Director, Electronic Youth Media Group, India’’ Youngest Media Entrepreneur), Kanchan Luthra (Career Counsellor), Father Lawrence Ferrao SJ(Director, XIC) and Rajeev Chawla (Course Head, Public Relations and Corporate Communication, XIC)

The debate was moderated by Dr Rishi Kapoor (RJ, 93.5 Red FM). The interactive discussion allowed students to question the panellists and clarify their views. The event was attended by students of XIC, St. Xavier’s College and Xavier Institute of Management & Research (XIMR).
