SIR GULAM NOON, MBE

XIC was honored by the visit of Sir Gulam Noon and Lady Noon. Sir Noon is a successful businessman from Bombay, known for his prowess in the food industry and for his concern for the under-privileged. He has spent several years in England, and is the chairman of the London Chamber of Commerce. Her Majesty The Queen conferred the honor of a Knighthood on Gulam Noon in her Golden Jubilee Year Birthday Honors list for his services in commerce and industry.

Sir Noon addressed a large gathering of faculty, guest and students , on how “Success in Business can be corruption-free”, at the St. Xavier’s College Hall, on August 22, 2002. The address was preceded by a short film on his life and work.
